About Us

“We have spoken about ourselves to the extent of a thousands-page book (the book of Faryad Jahangir); yet here, for greater and better interaction and mutual understanding, we present a few lines about ourselves, our goals, and our plans, offering them to your kind gaze.”

We are in the process of forming a population that:

  • Unlike helpless, desperate, aimless, hopeless, and unmotivated human beings, has discovered the secret of life; consciously and energetically, we have chosen the path of growth, perfection, tranquility, joy, celebration, and Mehrverzi (loving-kindness).
  • Unlike the religious fundamentalists, makes an idol, a deity, or a sacred entity out of no one and nothing; the religion and belief of others do not matter to us—what matters to us is their “Humanity and Truthfulness”.
  • Unlike racists, considers no race superior to another and praises equality.
  • Unlike separatists, safeguards integration, unity, oneness, solidarity, and universality.
  • Unlike slave-minded people and blind followers, creates no idol, dictator, savior, or deity out of any creature; through consultation and collective wisdom, we have no need for a guardian or leader.
  • Unlike the abject and flatterers, flatters no ruler or government to realize our rights; for the realization of our rights and Haq, we tread the path of Haq-Jouyi (truth-seeking), Haq-Guyi (truth-speaking), and Haq-Talabi (truth-demanding).

“This population is neither a sect nor a political party; rather, it is the manifestation of collective wisdom and the self-awareness of travelers who, in the brief journey of this world, have made Haq-Centeredness the foundation of their lives. We have gathered to break the chains of prejudice and imitation by implementing the teachings of the 10 Hollos, and by relying upon Chehel Naarava (Forty Wrongs), to build a healthy, joyful, intelligent, and superstition-free society. If you too believe in ‘being human’, ‘thinking freely’, and ‘unconditional Mehrverzi‘, we warmly extend our hands to you. The path is clear; it is enough to begin with ourselves.”

Hamsafaran at a Glance:

  • The world is a journey, and given its limitations, it is a realm to utilize experience, knowledge, and skills for enjoying oneself and recording cherished memories.
  • On a journey, we make the best use of minimal possibilities (journey amenities are never like home amenities); our efforts are directed toward traveling light.
  • The world is a journey, and for a graceful journey, we strive so that our fellow travelers (Hamsafaran) remember us as good companions. Thinking together, solidarity, goal-setting, planning, and righteous perseverance are the ingredients of a great journey.
  • For a graceful journey, nothing is more important than achieving peace (Haq, rights, and truth—Haq-Centeredness and fairness bring satisfaction and peace to all).
  • Every human possesses talent, interest, and skill, which become the driving factors for growth and joy in the journey of life and the world (talents must be discovered, interests identified, and skills acquired).
  • To attain Haq, rights, and truth, one must pay the price, strive, struggle, exercise patience, and at times, sacrifice one’s life.
  • Life on a journey will surely lack the comfort and ease of home; suffering, need, and physical motion are heightened, more evident, definite, and obvious on a journey (suffering and need are two indispensable elements of the world’s journey).
  • On the world’s journey, humans need one another and must make diligent effort in this path, because through solidarity and mutual aid, needs and suffering are diminished and resolved.
  • On a journey, bitter, unpleasant events and sorrow become probable for us or our Hamsafaran, and the grief of one causes grief for all. To offer empathy and to guide individuals away from bitterness and sorrow as swiftly as possible, one must become a soulmate and a companion.
  • On a journey, a constant pull always invites us to return home for post-journey rest and tranquility. Our perception is that after a joyful, exciting, multi-day trip, returning home to rest is the most ideal and complementary state. Therefore, one must create joy and excitement during the journey, share that joy with others, move forward, and practice forgiveness so that peace may be attained.
